I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rutgers University in New Jersey and a Master’s degree from the University of New York in Prague. This combination has provided me with a broad knowledge of psychology and a deeper understanding of the
human psyche. In addition, I am Czech multiple national champion, university record holder, and I have represented the Czech republic worldwide. Thanks to my sport background, I have learned to work under pressure, endurance, and maintain focus on goals which helps me better empathize and tailor my approach to individual needs of my clients. Currently, I am in training in Gestalt therapy, which focuses on holistic understanding of personality, relationships, and support for personal growth and awareness of own emotions and needs through the present moment. I have extensive professional experience with addiction treatment, anxiety, and depression. For a personal perspective, I understand the demands of elite athlete and can comprehend the pressure and stress that can affect your mental well-being both, on and off the playing field.
David Shorf
Coach
He studied English literature and philosophy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In the 90', he served in the IDF in combat engeneering unit. That was the first place where he started to be interested in dealing with stress and group dynamic. Later he went through an intensive training program focused on group dynamic in Noar ve Halutz in Israel. Upon his return to Czech Republic, he has been lecturing at the Anglo-American University in Prague. Today he works as a life coach with a certification from Certified Elite Performance Coaching (CEPC). He focuses on relationship therapy.
Michaela Syslová

She is a certified coach (ICF), crisis interventionist, primary prevention teacher at schools and therapist. She uses a systemic approach that focuses on the present moment. In the past, she worked as a personal assistant for children and adults with autism spectrum disorders. She is a graduate of educational programs in the field of mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, family mediation and psychosocial assistance.
Kristýna Šorfová
Addictologist
She finished her degree at the Department of Health and Addictology at the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University. She is a well trained professional in motivational therapy, relaxation techniques, crisis intervention and cognitive behavioral therapy. She has completed a first aid course for anxiety, panic and depression and was trained to treat eating disorders. She has more than 10 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient facilities specializing in the treatment of addiction and other psychiatric diseases. She also has extensive work experience in social services (social, debt counseling). She works with both adult and adolescent clients. She specializes in working with people with a dual diagnosis (addiction disease associated with other psychiatric diseases - psychoses, depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, bipolar disorders). In the past, she also worked with mentally ill homeless people.

Pavla Šimečková
Relaxation therapist
"It fulfills me to be able to help people find a way to release tension, learn to be here and now, be able to recognize and express their needs, and last but not least, to deepen compassion and mindfulness for themselves and others." She currently studies psychology at Charles University. Her preferred field is psychosomatics. In working with the body, she was initially inspired by bioenergetics, biosynthesis and yoga therapy. She is fascinated by the combination of Eastern wisdom and new findings of neuroscience. She believes that in order to manage psychological difficulties, it is necessary to pay attention to the manifestations of the body, which is the language of the limbic system. Using a variety of techniques, she will teach you to develop coping mechanisms to manage stress, increase your resilience and find inner resources for self-healing.

She studied Social Work at the JČU and devoted herself to sociotherapeutic work with seniors and unmotivated people with addictive behavior. Currently, she is in her fifth year of psychotherapeutic training in "Pesso Boyden Psychomotor Psychotherapy". She has completed a number of other PBSP postgraduate education trainings and workshops and continues to educate herself to EAP quality standards. Outside PBSP, she focuses on therapeutic work with emotions and the body using various techniques, where the basis is self-awareness and the development of self-compassion. She also works with trauma and a broken emotional bond, addictive behavior including eating disorders and cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety and depression.
Jakub Herzán
Peer consultant
He works as a peer therapist and coordinator of peer therapists in a Prague based psychiatric hospital. He focuses on individual therapy, as well as group therapy. In his work, he is inspired primarily by his own experiences with addiction and especially abstinence. He has completed a number of courses in peer therapy in the field of mental health care.
Dominik Fojtík

I studied andragogy (module: applied psychology) at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague. I have completed a psychotherapeutic training in systemic, narrative and solution-oriented direction and in hypnotherapy. I also completed a number of other training-type therapeutic courses, e.g. Hero's Journey, Working with the Body in Psychotherapy, Relaxation Techniques and Stress Management Techniques, MBSR Mindfulness Training, etc. For over four years, I worked as a personal development lecturer and consultant in a non-profit organization.
